What a year, huh? 2021 has been the most successful year for the basement team so far. We started with 10 people and now we are 18 talented individuals and counting. We’ve improved our structure and internal processes so we could boost our capacity and quality without the load being heavier on our team. We’ve gained new clients and more visibility — people are talking about us now! Old clients and new ones are delighted to be working with us because we are committed to delivering both quality and fun. We won’t stop.
Every small studio — when growing — faces a similar situation: optimize for short-term growth, or optimize for quality. Both choices have their tradeoffs. If you choose the former, you might sacrifice quality. If you choose the latter, you might grow slower. We bet on the quality, of both work and people.
